Do you have the Range?
It's the perfect time to hit the range and the cooler weather shouldn't stop you from refining your golf skills. As temperatures drop, golfers need to understand how the cold affects their shots and ball distance, making the Driving Range essential for maintaining your best performance through July and August.
Winter is also time to regrip your clubs! Our Pro Shop offers expert regripping services to help you get the most out of your swing.
Top Tips for Winter Golf from the Pro:
Hit the Range: Practice regularly to stay sharp.
Be Prepared: Equip your buggy with wet weather gear. Visit the Pro Shop for hand warmers, an umbrella, wet weather gear, and golf balls.
Stay Warm: Wear beanies and winter golf gloves to retain body heat. Switch to waterproof golf shoes for better protection. Keep golf balls warm with pocket hand warmers.
Warm Up: Always warm up before your round during winter. Arrive 30 minutes early and use a small range bucket to get your body ready for nine or 18 holes.
Local Rules: Check with the Pro Shop about local rules. Ground Under Repair (GUR) and preferred lies are common this time of year, along with additional hazards.
Divots and Sand Buckets: Repair divots as you go and always carry a sand bucket. The ground takes longer to repair during winter.
